Silver City Volunteer Fire Department is organized to protect life and property by delivering quality fire suppression and life safety services. This organization is solely funded by monthly dues and donations. The organization is solely operated by community members who volunteer their time and expertise in protecting life and property in the district.
We have two fund raising events planned in June. The funds raised through these events and from your generous tax deductible donations will help us in maintaining our equipment in anticipation of future firefighting or rescue needs.
The first events will be held on June 12 and 13, 2015, at the Silver City Fire Department, starting with a two-day garage sale and ending with an Open House Meet & Greet from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on June 13. This will be a terrific opportunity to meet your volunteer fire department members, board members and many individuals who live in this district. We look forward to seeing you there!
